Dylan
My name is Dylan. I’m 29 years old, and I’m from the United States. I received my B.A. degree in Biblical Studies from Cedarville University in 2018. In early 2021, I completed my M.A. degree in the Bible and the Ancient Near East from Rothberg International School at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. I plan to pursue a Ph.D. in the Bible and the Ancient Near East in the coming years.
I have a deep passion for reading Scripture in its original languages and literary contexts—and for teaching! Pursuing the biblical languages had been the sole reason that I even began studying at university in the first place. I desired a deeper understanding of the Bible, and at that time, college seemed to be the only place to start!
I hope to bridge this gap by providing high-level biblical language courses allowing people to study Scripture in an intensive manner without having them enroll in a formal educational setting. Come and learn to read the Bible in a deeper way, and let me join you on your Scripture reading journey!
Exploring Mikra
In the early months of 2020 Dylan founded Exploring Mikra with the hope to aid the needs of people in their search for biblical understanding and literacy. It had always been a dream to also provide courses and tutoring in the biblical languages since doing such would indeed align with that same vision.
In that same year, Mikra Academy also came to fruition. Dylan hopes that Mikra Academy will become an online place where anyone from any age or educational background can come and learn the biblical languages at their own pace. He explains, “Through my experiences I am convinced that everyone has innate abilities for acquiring the skills necessary to learn the biblical languages. Like many things, It’s all about building the right habits for success!” Dylan is committed to providing flexible and high level courses in biblical languages at an affordable rate.
